If there's one thing I love, it's versatility in my clothing and accessories. I got this pink dress towards the end of the summer but it got too cold too quickly to wear it so I stored it away in my closet thinking I wouldn't wear it until next summer.  When I was looking through my closet for some holiday outfit inspiration this week, I came across this dress, took one look at the sleeves, and knew I couldn't wait any longer to wear it. Read on for my tips for styling a spring/summer dress in the winter!

Not only is layering a fun way to switch up the way you wear pieces, it's also an easy way to make a piece more versatile and wearable throughout all seasons. Often in the winter, when I want to wear a dress, I add a jacket on top of my dress but I couldn't bare the thought of covering up these fun ruffle sleeves so I layered a simple black turtleneck underneath my dress. I finished the look with black tights & black boots and although this outfit doesn't include red, green or sparkle, it is totally great for a holiday party!
