LONG WEEKEND STYLE IN FREE PEOPLE





Hope you all are enjoying your weekends! As I mentioned on Friday, we spent the weekend out east with my family. It was so relaxing & we even got to spend an afternoon at the beach! During weekends out east, I always crave comfort but still want to look cute & feel stylish. I picked out this dress from Free People and it arrived just in time to wear over the weekend!! I love that I was able to wear this dress as a cover up to the beach & then to walk around town; it is the epitome of a light weight, easy, summer dress. Also how cute is this cactus tote?? I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality & large size of this tote - I was able to fit all my weekend essentials in it!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend! What are your plans for the long weekend? J & I are driving out East tonight to spend the weekend with my family! The weather isn't supposed to be great but I'm really excited anyways - hopefully we get at least one beach day while we are out there. I spent a good part of last night picking out my outfits for the weekend & in addition to packing my beach clothes & crossing my fingers for warm weather, I kept creating outfits centered around my white jeans. They seemed to be the perfect pairing for every top I am bringing along with me this weekend! Read on for some styling ideas for your white jeans!

A NEW WAY TO WEAR FLORALS





You know that saying about how floral print for spring being groundbreaking?? There's obviously a ton of sarcasm behind that quote, but it's never stopped me from wearing floral prints all spring long and styling them in every way I can think of. For those of you who are already tiring of your floral tops & dresses, why not try a new way to wear floral this season? As an accessory!

As soon as I saw this floral tote bag, I knew it would be the perfect weekend tote for spring & summer. I love the combo of the tropical print & straw material, plus, it's like a Mary Poppins kind of bag - you know, the kind that holds everything. CURRENTLY TRENDING: STATEMENT SLEEVES




I know I'm not the only one who has been noticing statement sleeves everywhere this season, right?? I'm kind of obsessed with this trend (also seen here, here & here) because it's a trend you can wear to the office & out on the town. I am all about a ruffle sleeve, bell sleeve or bow sleeves on a dress or top. It's such a nice touch to just about every top or dress & as seen on this dress, there's no such thing as too big a bell ;)



This bell sleeved NY & Company floral dress didn't need much so I simply paired it with black strappy sandals & my new white circle bag! I have been wanting a circle bag for so long & am so happy to have added this one to my closet. It's the perfect size to fit all my essentials & the crisp white color is perfect for summer. Shop Statement Sleeves:

MUST HAVE: UPGRADED DENIM JACKET




You guys, if there is one fun piece you need for this season it is this embroidered denim jacket. I am obsessed with everything about it from the moto details to the gorgeous colors in the embroidery! My sister actually picked it out for herself as her birthday present & I have been reaping the benefits of being the one who paid for it ;). I love stealing it from her closet & adding it to a basic outfit that needs a jolt of 'spring.' It's the perfect statement piece to pair with jeans & a tee or a simple dress.



I decided to pair this jacket with all white this time around, because what is more springlike than all white &  embroidered floral? I had talked on Instagram Stories over the weekend about how I DIYed step hem jeans & you can finally see my white pair in action in these photos ;).
