HOW TO LOOK STYLISH IN DUCK BOOTS

Today's post is the last but not the least of my Skechers winter boot collaboration. In this look, I’m wearing an all-weather winter outfit. This look consists of what is pretty much my cold weather uniform... an oversize sweater, cozy scarf, skinny jeans & a good pair of boots.

OUT THE DOOR IN 5 MINUTES

Some days I have the luxury of thinking up an awesome outfit, perfectly curling my hair & sitting down to have breakfast. Other mornings I wake up late & need to be out the door ASAP. The latter seems to be happening more often lately - I blame it on the cold weather making it impossible get out of bed in the morning. Luckily, I've come up with a few fail proof tips to help myself get out the door in 5 minutes (10 at most...).

10 BOOKS TO READ THIS WINTER + LINK UP

We have officially entered 'freezing weather' territory. For me, this means a lot more days spent curled up in a blanket watching Netflix & drinking hot chocolate. One thing that I love to do & definitely need to make more time for is reading! I was on a role towards the end of 2016 flying through books & then came to a pause needing some good new books to read; I've been pretty good about keeping up with my fashion & tabloid magazines though ;). Read on for 10 of my must read books & please, please, please share your latest favorite book so I can add it to my list :)

DRESS UP WINTER BOOTIES WITH SKECHERS

I'm excited to show you all the second outfit that I styled with Skechers for their Skecher's blog post!  In today's post, I'm sharing how I dressed up a pair of winter booties. That's right - it is possible to wear a pair of winter boots in a glam way! Usually when I head out to a party or event in the winter, I wear my winter boots and then bring an alternate pair of shoes to slip on once I arrive at my destination.  With winter booties this cute, there is no need to change!

MEN'S CLOTHING MADE EASY WITH THREADLAB

Today's post is focused on men's style because I just HAD to share a new subscription service for the guys. I recently tried out ThreadLab as a way to easily add to J's wardrobe without having to drag him to the mall to pick out winter clothes and I was pretty impressed with how easy their service was.

While there are a bunch of clothing subscription services for women, the options are limited for men. Threadlab is unlike any other men's subscription service J & I have heard about or tried before. No fees, easy returns & no subscription needed to get a box full of great new clothes & accessories for men.

You can choose from 3 box sizes (J got the Essentials box which includes 3-5 items, but you can go bigger or smaller if needed!)  Next, you select the types of clothing you want to receive. Since it's the winter, we obviously avoided ordering him any shorts or polo shirts, and instead opted for casual shirts, sweaters, etc!

Tip: When you sign up for an account, you will be prompted to enter your guy's basic sizing info, but you can get even more specific in the PerfectFit & Product Preferences sections of your account settings to ensure you always receive a perfect fit!

Once you add your sizes & choose the type of clothing you want, ThreadLab builds a box for you based on your size, personal style preferences and their arsenal of products! My favorite part about this service is that before your box ships to you, users get to review the items in their box and swap out anything they don't like! This way you can always be positive that the clothing will fit your man's personal style!

My Look: Sweater: Banana Republic (old, similar) | Tank: Forever 21 | Jeans: American Eagle | Boots: Stuart Weitzman
J's Look: Shirt, Sweater, Socks c/o Threadlab | Pants: Mavi (J's favorite - on sale!) | Sneakers: Nike

Overall, we edited items in J's box 3 times before finally choosing to ship what was chosen for him.  He received a this gray button down, a navy crew neck sweater, 2 pairs of socks & a t shirt - all in colors that look great on him & sizes that fit perfectly. The boxes can be pricey but because of the success we had with the first box, I have a feeling we'll be ordering boxes seasonally for J!

Have you heard of or tried Threadlab before? If not, you can get $20 off your first box by clicking here! I would love to hear how the service works for your man!
