When greenery got announced as the 2017 color of the year, I was a little unsure about it. I loved (& still love) last year's rose quartz & serenity shades, but greenery was a color that I didn't normally wear so automatically I felt a little out of my comfort zone at the thought of wearing it. The more I heard about the color greenery though, the more I thought I should give it a chance. The Pantone Color Institute writes 'Greenery bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the reassurance we yearn for amid a tumultuous social and political environment...Greenery symbolizes the re-connection we seek with...one another and a larger purpose.' With all that's been going on in the news lately, I thought there was no better time to introduce some greenery into my wardrobe.

Since greenery is the color of the year, I thought finding green clothing would be super simple but had some trouble finding the perfect shade of green and a green piece that I would feel comfortable wearing.  I stopped by the Topshop site planning to look for sweaters & ended up searching green, not surprised to see they had a TON of green options. I ordered this coat the second I saw it knowing it would be the perfect statement green piece into the spring.  I can always count on Topshop to help me find the type of piece I need. They have endless trendy styles but also classic pieces that can be worn over and over again. I love that everything is affordable too!
