For as long as I can remember, one of my favorite colors has always been pink. As a little girl, it's almost guaranteed that you will end up in lots of frilly pink dresses and cute pink outfits, and as I've gotten older, it is still one of the colors that my eye gets drawn to time and time again.  Pulling off pink as an adult can be a bit tricky, since you don't want to fall into Barbie doll territory or look like a child when wearing the shade. The number one trick that I've learned when shopping for pink clothing as an adult is to look for dusty rose/blush shades of pink as opposed to bright neon pinks.

These jeans and tank are just a few shades off from one another so they paired wonderfully together and created a monochrome pink look in a soft shade. To dip your toes into this trend, try adding one pink piece into your next outfit.  A blush accessory, like this cross body bag (on sale!), is a great way to add a small pop of pink into an outfit or try a top in a dusty rose shade, similar to the one I'm wearing!

Tank: Forever 21 (old, love this one!) | Jeans: similar | Booties: Rag & Bone | Bag: Kate Spade | Sunglasses: c/o Polette Eyewear (similar) | Jewelry: Gorjana, c/o The Urban Smith, c/o Banana Republic

How do you wear the color pink?
