Staying with the travel theme (told you I had travel on the brain), I'm sharing an easy, comfortable look for the airport or a road trip. When traveling, comfort & ease are key. This look combines both of those elements while still allowing me to look chic! Read on for my tips for putting together the perfect travel look!

Creating the perfect travel look is easier than you might think; you only need three things:

1. Light Layers - I started this outfit with a couple of my favorite basics (a classic black tank and black jeans). Classic items like these are great since they are easy to wear but make you look & feel put together. I added a few light layers on top - perfect for the plane. (You may remember this scarf from yesterday's post!) A cozy wrap makes the best plane blanket or wrap it around your neck a few times to create a faux neck pillow for the flight!

2. Slip On Shoes - I love these booties. They are super comfortable for standing around for hours or walking long distances and they are super simple to slip on and off. I love that they are a little more dressed up than a slip on sneaker. My pair are a few years old but I love & want this recent pair!

3. Sleek Carry On Bags -  Of course, you need your luggage to be sturdy and functional, but I also like pieces that have a sleek look.  This suitcase fits SO much yet can be carried onto the plane. I just got this black Rebecca Minkoff feed bag. (I actually got into the car to go to the airport and J looked at me and said 'did you buy a new bag for Toronto?!' Yes, yes I did.) But this bag is so worth it! It fits all of my essential items plus some extras and it was so easy to throw on as a cross body and carry through the airport and then around the city of Toronto!

Jacket: c/o Tobi (super similar; seen here) | Jeans: c/o DL1961 | Scarf: Free People | Boots: Steve Madden (old, want this pair) | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Sunglasses: Ray Ban

These travel posts are really making me want to book a trip somewhere ASAP!
Tell me where you've been and where I should I head next!

XO,
Michelle Paige
