LITTLE WHITE BOHO DRESS

I think a little white dress can be just as flattering & versatile as a little black dress.  I love how angelic & boho this little number is.  I toughened it up with gladiator sandals & a black pouch.  I've also worn this look with flips flops & a hat to the beach & with a pair of strappy heels for a date night.  See, so many options!

PALM PRINT DRESS

This dress has just skyrocketed to the top of my 'Favorite Items in my Closet' list.  You know you have one of those lists...where you go through a phase of obsessively wearing one item.  Right now, for me, it's this dress. 

I have been loving all summer prints lately and the palm trees on this dress are no exception.  To make this look appropriate for the city instead of the beach, I added strappy black sandals, black sunnies & a chain detailed clutch.

PINEAPPLE PRINT

 

There are tons of summertime prints out there - florals, polka dots, palm prints...the list goes on and on.  Right now, my favorite is the pineapple print! I mean does anything scream summer more than pineapples??

DENIM FOR EVERY BODY

I'm gonna vent for a minute here....I don't care what size or shape you are, shopping for denim is HARD.  Finding jeans that are the perfect waist size, length, color, have the right amount of stretch, make your butt look bigger (or smaller) & make your legs look long and lean sounds practically impossible...and really, it is almost impossible.    It takes tons of trying on & dancing in the dressing room to really figure out if a pair of jeans is perfect for you.

So I'm sure you all will be shocked to hear that I found my latest pair of jeans at one of the most unlikely, yet one of all of our favorite, stores: Target.

BEACH SHORTS

Guys - I have a not so secret confession to make.  I LOVE the beach.  During the winter, I feel like my whole life is centered around hockey, hockey, hockey.  Then during the summer, light-switch!, and I am all beach, beach, beach.  

I don't even swim, but I love the sound of the waves & the feeling of the sand on my feet & the way that I'm just able to relax & get lost in a book.

When you spend so many weekends at the beach, like I do, it's important to have a cover up that can also take you into town.  I hate thinking that I need to go home and change because my cover up is too sheer for running errands.  

These shorts are PERFECT for going from the beach to the streets.  Last week I was able to get my nails done before I hit the beach & was able to head straight to the mall with my sister after the beach.

These shorts are so lightweight & comfortable that I feel like I am wearing pajamas!  The added lace details & pockets make them super chic for the beach or running around town on the weekends. They have definitely become a must have for the summer.

  I wore this look out to dinner last weekend when we were in East Hampton.  I love how white & light colored neutrals can accentuate tan skin.
