Happy Halloween! Hope you all had a great weekend celebrating & dressing up! J & I had some fun costume ideas but we started thinking of everything too late and didn't end up dressed up, so this weekend consisted of adding some orange & black pieces into my everyday fall outfits.
A cape is the perfect, cozy, layering piece for the fall. I love that this Talbots piece emulates the colors of the leaves around me. The material is also nice and thick but really soft so you literally feel like you are wrapped in a blanket. Over the weekend, I paired this cape with a thermal tee and neutral brown accessories. Today, in honor of Halloween, I am wearing it with all black (You can see the photo on Instagram!)

We don't get dressed up at all---Halloween is definitely not our fave holiday! But we are going out to dinner tonight instead---and this cape would be perfect. thanks for the inspiration---I should pull mine out for the evening!!

DeleteI like the idea of being Halloween themed with orange and black better than dressing up. I googled "easy last minute Halloween costumes" and dressed up as Rosie the riveter, haha! It was super easy. All you need is denim and a red scarf. Done.
