Lately, I have been LOVING neutral fall shades. (Seriously, if you check out my Instagram for the last couple of weeks, it hasn't been all that colorful) I'm working on adding some fun, bolder shades back into my wardrobe but there's no time like the fall for wearing lots of browns, olives and rust shades. Today's look features the items I have been wearing the most lately and, no surprise, all of them happen to be in the neutral family.

I wore these booties in an earlier fall post and expressed my love for them then as well, but let me just reiterate... It took trying on about 8 pairs of brown booties before I was finally able to find this pair that I truly loved. I'm so glad I waited because this Vince Camuto pair is so comfortable, a great neutral shade and simple in design, but have a cool fringe detail on the back heels.

Unlike the time it took me to find these booties, I knew as soon as I saw this jacket that this was the outerwear piece I wanted for the fall. The problem was everyone else wanted it too! Every time I would get wind that this jacket was back in stock, it would be sold out again in my size before I could get my hands on it.  I finally was able to order one a couple of weeks ago and it was worth the wait! The suede is gorgeous, the style is classic moto & it is just heavy enough for these brisk fall days.

Finally, on to my mini bag! I was a bit unsure about the mini bag trend because it didn't make much sense to me at first - a bag that is shaped like your larger satchels but in a mini size?? What's the point?? The point is... These bags are the BEST alternative to a daytime clutch or cross body bag.  It's casual like my larger daytime bags, but is perfect for the weekends when I only need to carry around my essentials. Plus, the metallic front panel and mini top handles make this particular Vera Bradley bag SO cute.
