Today I'm sharing 4 dresses you need in your closet for summer: a white dress, a striped dress, a maxi dress and an off the shoulder dress.  I love that this particular dress combines two of this summer's biggest dress trends! The off the shoulder style is breezy and effortless and I love the vertical stripes on this dress because they lengthen the body and have the ability to make you look taller & thinner.  Who doesn't love that?!


More recently than in prior seasons, I have attempted to buy pieces that are more timeless and can last for years and seasons to come without looking dated.  The best thing about my four favorite dress styles for summer is that they are all classic styles and can be worn summer after summer. A white dress will continue to be popular each summer, stripes - while the width and direction may change - are a classic pattern that is sure to never go out of style.  A breezy maxi dress is perfect for the warmest summer days and off the shoulder styles are on trend this summer, but will continue to be a great way to show off skin in warm weather without feeling overly exposed.
