It's been a weird adjustment not being able to see friends or family except over FaceTime and Zoom. One way that my family members have stayed in touch through the weeks is by sending small gifts to each other. Below are 5 gift ideas to send to your friends/family to let them know you are thinking of them while we are apart.

1. Flowers/Plants - Try The Sill, Bouqs or Farm Girl Flowers. They have a range of floral arrangements and plants that can be shipped to you or a friend.

2. Curated Boxes - I'm a huge fan of Bright Boxes curated boxes and recently discovered Small Packages. You pick the theme, they curate a box and send it out for you. Themes range from birthdays to engagements to just because.

3. Wine/Snacks - Send wine to your friend/family's homes via Saucey or deliver some sweets to their door via Milk Bar or Baked by Melissa.

4. Self Care Products - I have been using Tula products for about a month now and have been loving them. I plan on ordering some Tula masks. For every face mask that you order, they donate medical masks to front line workers! Send some self care to your friends while you're at it!

5. DIY Crafts - Etsy is the ultimate place for crafting. I recently found a couple of crafts and placed my order. First I'll be making my own dreamcatcher, then I'll tackle making my own candle. Alexa Leigh is also shipping BYOB (build your own bracelet) kits. Grab one for you and one for a friend.

How have you been staying in touch with friends & family during the quarantine?
