I know, I know, a post on jackets during the summer?? Makes no sense.  But if you're like me, you spend a majority of your week in AC during the summer.  My commute to and from work includes a car, a train and a subway all including blasting AC and once I arrive to my office, it's more AC.  So I opt to wear a light weight jacket over my outfit even on the hottest days because it's likely that I'll run into the AC at some point during my day and need something to wrap around my shoulder.  Read on for my 3 must have jackets for spring and summer...




1. Bomber Jacket: Bomber style jackets are so popular right now and fit right into the leisurewear trend that has been seen everywhere.  I love both the classic bombers in olive green or black as well as quirkier printed styles that are lots of fun for warm weather.  

2. Denim Jacket: One of my favorite jackets to wear and the one that I probably reach for the most often during the spring/summer is my denim jacket. Plus it matches just about every outfit & makes anything look instantly cool & casual.   I love a classic blue denim but for summer, I have been loving light washes or even a white denim!

3. Trench Coat: I had been in the habit of only reaching for my trench coat on rainy spring days until recently when I realized it makes the perfect, classic topper for any summer day.  I love the timeless color of a khaki trench and, if you have the funds to splurge, a Burberry trench is the way to go.  This one has lasted me years & is so well made!
