I am most definitely a person with one wardrobe. Many people have pieces that they wear to work & other pieces that they wear on weekends, or pieces that they were during the summer & store away for the winter. But I love a good fashion challenge so I like say my entire wardrobe is fair game no matter the occasion or season. Jumpsuits & dresses are a couple of those easy, one & done pieces that I love to wear during the summer. Wearing them into the winter can be a bit tricky, but by adding a turtleneck underneath, it is totally possible to style these in the wintertime!
I got this Harmony & Havoc jumpsuit well after the summer ended, but there was no chance I was going to wait until warm weather to wear it. By adding a basic turtleneck underneath & a leather jacket on top, I was able to get a wintertime wear out of this lightweight piece.
The shape of this jumpsuit paired with boots was not super flattering, so I decided to wear my velvet flats! Velvet is one of those fabrics you must take advantage of during the winter months - it is so luxe, especially in small doses, & for under $100, these Steve Madden flats are a steal!
This dress is super cute & the pattern almost reminds me of snowflakes (!) but the only problem is its short sleeves! Adding a slim turtleneck underneath allowed me to wear this dress on a chilly day without having to cover up the great print! Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots & a coordinating cross body bag finished off this look!

I hate putting away pieces for the winter. Layering allows me to wear them all year :)

I love how the turtleneck added to each of these looks completely changes it and makes it totally wearable when it is cold. In fact, I would not even know you added a turtleneck if you had not told us. You look great in both of these looks.

Thank you! I love the slim fitting turtlenecks bc they don't take away from my outfit!
DeleteBoth of these outfits are divine. I am in love with each of your B+W Floral Pieces, especially the jumpsuit. But what I am dying over are your stunning burgundy shoes from each outfit. I need both pairs and your gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff. =)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I didn't mean for these outfits to be the same color palette but I love this combo so much :)
