I am so excited to welcome J back to my blog this week to help me introduce a new Stitch Fix feature that I am super excited about: Stitch Fix Men!  Any of you ladies not only shop for yourselves, but also for your S.O.?   I always seem to end up being the one picking out new clothes for J - he loves getting and wearing new clothes but hates the process of searching for them and trying them on.  Stitch Fix Men was a thrilling addition to Stitch Fix for both of us.  Now, we both were able to receive a personalized box of clothing and accessories delivered right to our doors - no effort required! Today I'm sharing some of J's favorite pieces that he received in his very first Fix (and some of my favorites from my latest Fix!)

My favorite piece that J received in his Fix was this Ezekiel 'Sanders Twill Shirt'. It was easy to style this outfit since the shirt really didn't need much to make an impact; jeans and a pair of neutral Nike sneakers were the perfect finishing touches. I love the grey and red color combo & striped print of this shirt for fall and the flannel fabric is SO soft! Plus, it looked great on him! This piece ran true to size and was definitely a keeper.

The Hailey 23 'Joel Popover Knit Dress' (yes, it's a dress!!) I received in my Stitch Fix box was such a soft fabric and a simple color palette but I found the fit to be a little more clingy than I typically like and a little out of my price range, so even though both J & I were fans of it, I decided to send it back.  (I am thinking of trying to recreate a similar look though - striped dress with a long sleeve layer on top - yes please!) (shop a similar dress here)

Never one to forego comfort for fashion, this blue 'Marathon Hooded Pullover' by Alternative Apparel via Stitch Fix was right up J's alley.  He felt super comfortable in this dressed down look with a pair of gym shorts and his favorite Nike sneakers, but the bright blue shade made him stand out in a crowd.

To coordinate with J in shades of blue, I decided to pair my Loveappella 'Fenwick Woven Detail Knit Top' (similar here) with light blue flare jeans and a blue Rebecca Minkoff bag. I love a good basic tee and was not surprised at myself for becoming obsessed with this one the second I put it on. The back peplum and striped pattern are such a nice surprise and a great twist on a basic. This tee is sure to be on repeat for a long time - I almost wish I could order 2 of them!

Stitch Fix Men sent J the perfect fall windbreaker jacket, which is an item we had already been on the hunt for. The Camelot Pullover Jacket by Ezekiel (zip up style here) is truly unique and he loved it as soon as he tried it on. The zippers, hood and front pocket are simple, classic details and the lightweight fabric is perfect for layering in the fall.

This last outfit was my personal favorite created with pieces from my most recent Fix. I loved that this Dee Elle 'Abey Tie Waist Tunic' and Tinsel 'Joen Cargo Vest' (similar) could be paired together to create one awesome fall look...I wonder if Stitch Fix did that on purpose! I secretly love receiving items that go to together - the hard work of creating an outfit is already done for me ;). Jeans & olive green Vince Camuto booties finished off this look.

Other items in J's Fix included: a Hawker Rye 'Essential Wash Long Sleeve Shirt' - this was a navy blue gingham printed long sleeve and was very similar to a shirt that J already has so we decided to send it back (reminded me a lot of this one).  He also received Flag & Anthem's Erie Jean in a dark wash but these were too tight all over.  I was unsure of how well Stitch Fix Men would be able to nail J's style. He's pretty easy when it comes to colors & prints but he is particular about fit.  3/5 keeps for him is amazing on the first Fix!

Other items in my Fix included: a Renee C 'Vause Off the Shoulder Top' (similar print, similar style) - I've never really had a 'miss' in any of my Fixes but I gotta be honest, I wasn't a fan of this top.  The sleeves had a tie detail that I found to be slightly annoying on my arm and the print wasn't a favorite of mine. This one went back.  2/5 keeps for me is definitely a win!
