No doubt this April has been full of showers, so my rain boots have been getting a lot of usage. I love, love, love my Hunter boots (I also have a yellow pair)! They are so great in the rain & snow to keep my feet warm and dry, plus the fun colors brighten up any gray day!




I love wearing dresses on warmer rainy days  - I think a short dress or skirt looks so cute with a bright pair of rain boots. Stripes are such a classic print & I guarantee there is a striped pattern that looks good on everyone!  I love horizontal stripes because they help me fake the illusion of curves, but if you have your own curves already, try vertical stripes! They help to elongate your body making you look taller!

Sizing Tip: I am wearing kids' Hunter boots!  I typically wear a women's size 6 in shoes and realized when buying my rain boots that the kids size 4 fit me perfectly, plus they are less expensive & who doesn't love a good deal?!  Another plus for those petite gals, kids' Hunter boots are a few inches shorter in the shaft, so they only reach my mid-calf instead of all the way up to my knee.
