Today I am sharing a holiday outfit idea for an office party.  The office party is a great time to socialize with your co workers and toast to another year, however it is important to remember that even in a party setting you are with people you work with...and you do not want to be the talk of the office the next morning.  When it comes to what to wear - this is the time to dress to impress! A long sleeved shirt dress with my fun pair of heels is a great option!

You may notice that there isn't actually any red or green in this look, but I still found it to be fun & festive.  I loved the speckled pattern but appropriate shape of this dress & that it can easily be worn during the day with flats or a blazer & then transformed for night.

Below are a few simple ways to switch up your work day look for an office party:

1. Add red lips.  Not only is a red lip festive around this time of year, it is a classic, glam look that is definitely appropriate for night time. 

 2. Add a clutch.  In the morning, pack a clutch in your work tote to carry at night.  Bring only the essentials with you at the end of the day & leave everything else at your desk, if possible.

3. Add some sparkle.  Use a statement necklace or chandelier earrings to add some sparkle to your look.  Jewelry always adds some extra pop to a simple outfit.

4. Add heels.  Swap your flats for a pair of heels and your look will instantly go from day to night, even when you are just wearing jeans & a sweater.  Try a colored or sparkly pair for the holiday season. If you plan to be mingling, a comfortable pair is essential!  No one wants to be leaving the party early due to achy feet.
