Today on the blog, we are a celebrating a birthday!! Not my own - but Talbots' 70th birthday! Can you believe the brand has been around and has been creating modern yet classic styles for 70 years? I actually can believe it because their styles continue to be high quality & timeless. To celebrate their 70th birthday, Talbots released a limited edition collection of 7 pieces, each one representing a different decade.
The collection includes the 1940's white shirt, 1950's statement necklace, 1960's little black dress, 1970's slouchy turtleneck, 1980's bold blazer, 1990's signature scarf & 2000's millennial bag. I dressed up my simple, staple jeans & white tee with a 1980's inspired hot pink blazer. I love how this piece took my outfit from basic to bold!
