It's been a year since lockdowns/stay at home orders/etc started (can you believe it?!) and while I feel like we can see the light at the end of the tunnel, many of us are still spending a lot more time at home than ever before. Being home so much and distanced from family and friends has the ability to put me in a funk from time to time. Self care routines have helped a lot in helping me relax and put myself first. Below are 4 ideas for self care from home:

1. Establish a skincare routine. If you haven't established a daily skincare routine, it is time!! It doesn't have to be long but it will make such a difference in your skin and also how you feel in the morning and evening. I started using Tula products at the beginning of 2020 and love how they work on my skin. I'm planning a full blog post of all of my favorite Tula skin products and their uses.

2. Give yourself a manicure/pedicure. One of the things that I gave up when lockdown orders stopped was getting monthly manicures and pedicures. With a few simple tools and some fun polish colors, it's definitely something you can do from home.

3. Relax in a bath. I'm not a huge bath person myself but I know people find them so relaxing and as such a great way to wind down at the end of the day. There are so many bath products like salts or bath bombs to make your bath time more luxurious.  Grab a book or magazine, a glass of wine and light some candles, then spend 20 minutes soaking in a bath and imagining that you are at a fancy spa.

4. Stretch. Stretching can be so overlooked but it is so important & makes you feel so good. Before I was pregnant, I had gotten into a good routine of stretching when I woke up in the morning. 5-10 minutes is all you need and I swear it puts you in a better mindset to start your day.
