We are officially into September and even though the temperatures are still up there, I feel like I can now officially pull off wearing some of my fall clothing. I have been wanting to wear this bell sleeve tunic for so long and couldn't wait another week to style it. I decided to pair it with my white jeans and neutral sandals. White after Labor Day, gasp, I know, but today's blog post will prove to you that white is the way to go all year long.

My favorite way to wear white post Labor Day is to pair it with rich fall shades, like jewel tones or the colors of the leaves around you.  Rust, mustard, burgundy, navy and emerald all look great when paired with crisp white. Keep pieces like white denim or a white jacket in rotation but I would recommend putting away your summer whites like lace, eyelet or linen.

Also, can we take a moment to obsess over how great bell sleeves are?? I love this type of detail on a top or dress lately. It turned basics into statement making pieces, plus it infuses a bit of boho into your outfit. I loved the forest green color of this bell sleeved piece (note - on the SammyDress website, it is listed as a dress, but it was a little too short for me so I added some skinny jeans underneath and styled it as a tunic! See my style tip below.)

Style Tip: Have a dress that is a little too short but looks just a bit too long to be a top?  Add a knot! Knotting up one corner of your dress with hike it up enough for it to be the perfect length for a top and adds a fun detail in the process.
