As a blogger, I'm lucky enough to try out a ton of brands & products, some which I really love and some which I don't really love. Today I'm sharing my cream of the crop beauty products; the products I use until the very last drop & then purchase over & over again; my can't live with-outs. Read on to find out what they are!
BROW PENCIL - Thrive Causemetics Brow Pencil. I was gifted this brow pencil along with other Thrive products about a year ago, but this product is by far my favorite of the bunch. It is available in 2 shades: universal light & universal dark. I use the darker shade to fill in my brows & I love how natural it looks!
MASCARA - Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. I received this product as a blind tester & I fell in love with it before even knowing what the brand was. I have bought it religiously ever since. It's the best at simultaneously lengthening & adding volume to my lashes.
FOUNDATION- Bare Minerals Bare Skin Foundation. I love how many shades this comes in (20 to be exact!). If you visit a Bare Minerals store or make up counter, you can get shade matched! Make sure you buy the brush for it as well. It makes a huge difference in the application.
TINTED MOISTURIZER - Jouer Moisture Tint. I believe I first got this tinted moisturizer in a BirchBox. It was a tiny sample that I squeezed & used until there was nothing left and then I purchased a full bottle & did the same all over again. I usually use this product in the summer when I have more of a tan and don't need or want as much coverage. This product is so lightweight & contains SPF.
BRONZER- Physician's Formula Bronzer. Sometimes you just can't beat the drugstore brands. I have been using Physician's Formula bronzer's since HS and I have yet to find anything better. I love the Glow Boosting Bronzer the most!
CONCEALER - Benefit Fake Up Concealer. I've tried so many concealers over the years & this one has great coverage & lasts all day. I am a sucker for good packaging & I love that Benefit puts a little extra effort into their tubes & bottles to make everything look pretty!
LIP BALM - Blistex Flips. I love Blistex as a lip balm brand in general because it is so moisturizing but the flips are my favorite from the Blistex line due to the cute packaging! They come in blue & pink!
LIP CRAYONS - Laqa & Co (fav shade: Mixtape). I was introduced to these lip crayons from BirchBox as well & immediately fell in love with how easy lip crayons were to apply. I received this shade later on & Mixtape instantly became a favorite. It is the perfect, confidence boosting, bold red!
RED LIPSTICK (GLOSS) - Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro (fav shade: 400). This lip product is considered a gloss on their website, but I'm considering it a lipstick because it is matte, not sticky at all & so pigmented. When I really want statement red lips, I always reach for this product. It looks so great in photos & in real life, lasts all day & feels so smooth.
PINK LIPSTICK - ELF Cosmetics (Favorite shades: Bold Berry & Touch of Pink). If you're looking for a hot pink shade, Bold Berry is it. It is actually so bold, that I often dab it along my lips and then use my finger or a lip brush to blend in into the corners. A little goes a long way with this shade. Touch of Pink is that baby pink shade. It has a softer look but is pretty pigmented considering how light it is.
NUDE LIPSTICK - ELF Cosmetics (favorite shades: Touch of Nude & Marsala Blush). Touch of Nude is a true nude lipstick that I wear on off duty days when I do my makeup while Marsala Blush has a pink/brown color that I wear when I want a nude color but don't want to look washed out. It adds the perfect touch of neutral color in photos so that my lips still pop a bit.
BERRY LIPSTICK - ELF Cosmetics (fav shades: Deep Burgundy & Touch of Berry). For a vampy lip, I use Deep Burgundy. This is such a statement lip color & I love wearing it in the winter. For a softer, day to day berry lip, I use Touch of Berry. (Are you sensing a theme with the 'Touch of...' collection?! I love all of their shades!)
That about wraps up my favorites!!
Did I leave anything out?
