There is just something about the color black that makes me feel confident every time I put it on. I think it is so flattering, so simple and can look so effortless. I love adding texture to any monochrome look that I wear (see examples here & here), but I think it is especially important for an all black look because layered pieces can get lost in the dark color.
Suede boots & a leather jacket are the perfect finishing touches to this black drop waist dress. I have been wearing my OTK boots & black leather jacket non stop this fall (sorry if you guys are getting tired of seeing them) but seriously both are so versatile & make every single outfit look cooler. I am trying to decide if I need another pair of 5050 boots. Plus - breaking news! - I just found out that my leather jacket comes in a new color for this season - BLUE! Am I going to be crazy enough to buy this jacket in a third color??? (I already have the black & blush pink versions)
