Sometimes rather than playing with shape or color, I enjoy adding interest to an outfit through texture.  Since the colors on both my top & skirt are muted & the shapes are classic, I decided to pair a sequined skirt with a feathered top & create an outfit based around unusual textures.  

 Style Tip: this is an especially great way to amp up a monochrome look.  I love to use leather, fur, sequins, etc in an all black look!
