SUMMER SWEATERS

While I am certainly not in a rush for the summer to end, I am excited for a few fall things - mainly the return of hockey & the FASHION!  Hellooo sweaters, boots, hats & layering.

I already bought myself a few long sleeve tops & sweaters plus a pair of booties that I am dying to wear.  I couldn't resist wearing this peplum style sweater on a chillier summer night.  Paired with shorts and wedges now, and jeans and boots later - I can already tell this sweater is going to become one of my most worn item.

BLACK MAGIC

I try to shy away from black during the spring time but some days, I just love the dark. I keep a mono-colored outfit from getting too boring, by wearing interesting shapes & fabrics! I decided to pair a peplum leather skirt with a cotton peplum top.  I finished off the look with patterned tights & black suede booties for a look that is anything but basic black.

lacy

Since this top is so gorgeous & the lacy details are intricate, I decided to pull my hair back off of my face & create a 'punk knot updo.'   It was really simple, only took a few minutes to do & lasted all day.
