Hope everyone had a great weekend! I love how versatile a LBD (little black dress) can be (see how I've styled mine in the past, here & here). For a chillier spring day, I belted a utility-style jacket over my dress & added gold accessories for a luxe yet casual look.

We had lots of family time this weekend celebrating my mother's birthday! Lots of people talk about how their Mom is their 'BFF,' but mine isn't, she's my mommy. She's there for me when I need advice, love or support. She still cooks me dinner & folds my laundry & takes me on shopping trips to the mall. She truly does it all for my family & me. My mom is so much more than any friend could ever be. Happy belated Mom!

ReplyDeleteI love, love, love military-inspired jackets. I have a 3-in-1 "bomber jacket" I ordered from Victoria's Secret about 6 years ago and I still love wearing it all the time. This utility jacket is very nice! I would never have thought to pair a utility jacket with an otherwise dressy outfit, I always wear my bomber jacket with jeans and a simple top.
