I'm obsessed with how our stationery turned out. It took me a while to choose it and originally we were heading in a different direction but it didn't end up working out. We started from scratch aiming to keep the suite simple with fun fonts & some pops of color. I love how every piece turned out!
We opted not to have a traditional bridal party, but I did have friends & family getting ready with me on the morning of the wedding! How pretty does everyone look in their robes?!
Dress shopping was another tricky part of the wedding process for me. I had such a vision for so many aspects of our day but I had no idea what I wanted to look like! I actually booked our venue, florist and photographer before I even started looking at dresses and chose the dresses for our sisters to wear before I found my own dress! When I tried this one on, I liked it and said 'yes' to it because it fit the rest of my visit. The alterations took me from liking this dress to loving it. Once it fit, it was amazing and so flattering! Now, I wish I had another reason to wear it ;) Why do we only get to wear our wedding gowns once???
Before leaving to see Jody, I opted to do a first look with Dad. These photos are some of my favorites!
It wouldn't be a full getting ready post without some photos of my groom! Didn't he look handsome?!
