How freaking awesome is this jacket!? As soon as I got it, I became obsessed with the rich shade & fun fringe detailing. However, it took me a while to figure out how to style it without looking like I was going to a costume party dressed as a cowgirl. By pairing this western inspired jacket with all black, I was able to take it from cowgirl to street style!
Style Tip: When wearing a western inspired piece, the key is to only wear ONE piece. Keep everthing else super basic & classic. This single tip will help to avoid your outfit from looking like a costume!
Jacket: c/o Harmony & Havoc | Sweater: Zara (similar) | Jeans: c/o DL1961 | Booties: Urban Outfitters | Bag: Kate Spade |Jewelry: Gorjana | Sunglasses: Ray Ban
In other news, I am arriving in Barbados today for a much needed vacation & will be sharing tons of photos/outfits from my trip on Instagram @michelle_orsi. Don't worry - I planned ahead & you will have some blog posts to read next week too! ;)

I can see why you're obsessed with this jacket! And I agree, any more than one western piece at a time is definitely heading into costume territory. Enjoy your trip!

ReplyDeleteI'm really digging the fringed jacket, it is not too western to me.
