By the time February rolls around, I am honestly just about done with sweater weather & start craving spring pieces.  Since it is still so cold, dresses & skirts are pretty much out of the question, but lightweight jackets & even flats can be introduced into my wardrobe again.  By adding a thick sweater under this embroidered jacket, I am able to make it appropriate for this month's winter weather.

Never one to shy away from a statement piece, I am totally obsessed with this quilted jacket. The navy and white pattern throughout most of it are classic, but the teal and red embroidery on the front are unexpected and bold!  Plus, this jacket was perfect with my red Hunter boots for my commute to work & with my red Tory Burch flats that I was able to slip into once indoors.  My navy sweater & dark wash jeans completed this casual work day look.

Come springtime, I can't wait to wear this embroidered jacket over a little white dress with flats or paired with my denim mini skirt and a white button down!  The options are endless!
