Finishing off the week, with the type of clothing I own the most of by a long shot, tops.  An entire side of my closet is dedicated specifically to tops & blouses.  I think a fun patterned top is the easiest way to switch up a look.  There are so many textures, shapes, colors & layering techniques.  However, I've narrowed this post down to a few of my favorite go-to styles.

Button Up Blouse: I love a menswear inspired button up, either in a solid color or a pattern. This item looks great worn open as a shirt jacket or buttoned up as a top.  It is a great layering piece and works for so many different occasions, from work days to date night.

Basic Tees: Classic tee-shirts should be a must have in everyone's closet.  I own tons of black, white & gray ones since they can be paired with so many pieces.  I also have tons of styles: tanks, short sleeves & thermal long sleeves, with V necks, crew necks & scoop necks.  I use t-shirt styles as my base and then layer from there with a blazer, fun jacket, sweater, etc.  The options are endless.

Sweaters: For years I have lived for cozy, oversize sweaters.  They are the perfect off duty look with a pair of jeans or leggings.  This season, however, I am finding more and more cropped styles & am loving these just as much.  Cropped sweaters make great layering pieces & still leave you the ability to show off your shape!

I hope you all enjoyed this series! I am excited to share my outfits & highlights from my trip to Puerto Rico with you all next week!
